hearing HIGH HOPES the new album of THE BOSS and the version of GHOST OF TOM JOAD with TOM MORELLO from RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE i remembered this great video. damn. when i saw it the first time i got flashed. this is a wonderful version of the song even more since i know about the history of TOM JOAD and STEINBECK'S “THE GRAPES OF WARTH”. these are 9:00 minutes pure emotion what THE BOSS and TOM MORELLO performed at the 29th and 30th of october 2009 at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, nyc. and now a new studio version of this song by these two great artists is on HIGH HOPES – great! i love it ... but the live version is even better! pics & video | © Bruce Springsteen & Tom Morello
