one of my absolute favorites of my boot & shoe cupboards: the 1912 introduced MAIN HUNTING SHOE. this boot was LEON LEONWOOD BEAN'S very first product. it is a pity, the one i own is just a bit too small. the boot fits only with very thin socks and so the comfort is not the best when walking some time. i think i had to change the boot in a one size up bigger one. good to know that this boot isn't so expensive at all. an absolutely must-have boot: an american icon which is still handstitched and checked for quality right there in MAINE! pics | LTG
