RED WING SHOES JAPAN | A BOOKLET ABOUT THE HISTORY, MATERIALS, SHOE CARE AN REPAIR

with my #8100 i found very well done booklet in the RWS box. so nice designed with some old school illustrations and graphics, many photos how to care the RWS boots and a lot of information. this is japanese style as i know: perfect! en detail! when i buy a pair of  RWS in germany or USA i don't get such a nice booklet. pics | LTG

I have a pair of boots like in the first photo except that mine are 8-inch. I've had them several years, purchased at a Red Wing shoe store in Northern Virginia. They have thicker leather than any other boots that I have, though not the stiffest by any means. Applications of Obernauf's oil and waxes but they were just as flexible to begin with.

What makes this boot the most comfortable for walking on a hard surface is the sole but it wears relatively quickly. My boots came with no instructions whatsoever.

By the way, the shoe store measured my feet with some kind of machine that I stood on. That was the first time I've had my feet measured in a long, long time.
