damn, this is really heavy stuff: someone put black rubber on the toes of a rare classic ERIC CLAPTON RED WING BOOT style 1945. i'm always in extraordinary stuff, but this is even to heavy for me. never saw such a ”dirty nose” of a RED WING boot before and i don't like this. it is done to protect the toes of getting wet; a sort of old school goretex® – waterproof rubber. this boot is actually on ebay now. if you like a pair of boots on which everybody will staring at and ask you why you have painted your boot toes with rubber, it is a must-have for you. apart from the rubber noses the boot is in a really good condition. pics | ebay name joeymest
